For those headed to Los Angeles for the 2016 Association of Writers and Writing Programs (AWP) conference, stop by Table 118 and say hello to the Hippocampus Magazine gang.
We had an incredible time last year meeting readers, contributors, and staff members, and we’d love to see you again—or for the first time. We’re happy to answer any questions you have about our magazine and other activities, creative nonfiction, and the writing life in general.
More than anything, we just want to meet our greater creative nonfiction community!
Author Signings at Table 118
This year, you can meet a pair of wonderful writers at our table during two author-signing events:
- Laurie Jean Cannady (Thurs. 1-2)
- Melissa Hart (Fri. 2-3)
Fun at Table 118
We’re giving away a $25 gift certificate each day to a store where you can buy writerly/geeky things. Sign up for our mailing list to be entered to win on of three prizes; we’ll pick a winner each day at the close of the Book Fair:
- Thursday – Staples
- Friday – Powell’s
- Saturday – Think Geek
