If you’re new to us, HippoCamp: A Conference for Creative Nonfiction Writers, currently on hiatus from its original in-person format, is/was a three-day gathering in Lancaster, PA. The conference name, HippoCamp, is a play off our magazine and the summer camp feeling you get when gathering with friends. While the conference remains on indefinite hiatus, we’ve been holding online events during a weekend in August in order to bring the community together still.
